You could say that my business found me on its own. I had never thought about making cosmetics until the day I completely accidentally ordered 1 kg of unrefined shea butter in a bucket. Initially, it was supposed to be ready-made body butter, but by mistake, I ended up with a kilogram of shea butter. I don’t like wasting things, so I decided to read up on how to make homemade body butter without preservatives and water. I should add that I have dry skin, I suffer from celiac disease, and I have trouble choosing cosmetics. In the butters I used, there was always something I didn’t like. My skin liked certain ingredients at first, it accepted them, but after some time, it no longer liked the ingredients it had previously loved, and that’s where the idea came from.
What if I made a body butter that was natural, moisturizing, and finally suitable for my skin? I ordered the necessary things and got to work on making it. I made 8 jars of my first cosmetic and gave them to family and friends. I started using the butter myself and discovered its wonders day by day.
Family and friends were also thrilled with the butter and wanted more. So I decided to make more and more. Then new scents were created, the company was registered, and the first sales happened. And now I am here, happy, fulfilled, and proud of what I do because my butter is not just butter—it’s ingredients melted at the right temperature so you get every mineral and vitamin in your little jar. Each batch is small and perfected. Every item in my shop, from start to finish, I make myself because I am a small business and I want to be sure that every process happening in my shop is homemade and natural.
